We need a better way to answer client requests and support internal tasks related to catalog contents

Currently, our teams use Catalog Extracts (manipulated in spreadsheets) for:

  • Providing information to clients regarding what items are available in what countries/regions (see attached Boeing request).
    • We provide this weekly to Jiff (Jiff Reports - Dropbox)
    • We provide this to YouEarnedIt every time they onboard a new client
  • Supplying gift card information on what is currently in a client's catalog and what we offer that is not currently in a client's catalog

Use of these extracts for the above purposes is very time consuming and manually intensive. The current process involves manually looking up each item up in each country's catalog extract.

This idea is being created so we can come up with a efficient, scalable solution that provides visibility into our catalogs so we can better address these client requests.
